Soju Wave is a Toronto-based media outlet focused on sharing various aspects of Korean culture.  It originally started out in 2012 as a travel blog while our founder lived in Gyeongju, South Korea. Since then, with the addition of food, entertainment, fashion, and a growing team, Soju Wave has been featured on prominent news outlets such as YTN, Yonhap News, The Korea Times Daily, and The Korea Observer

In the community, we have partnerships with other Korean Canadian organizations including Collo, Urban Collide, the Korean Professional Women’s Association (KPWA), and the Korean Canadian Cultural Association (KCCA).

We aim to bring original, authentic, and engaging content to stimulate curiosity and promote conversation so that we can drive towards a deeper understanding of the similarities and differences between cultures. Together with the community, our goal is to paint a complete landscape of Korean culture as it impacts the Canadian audience.
